queer horror me stories:

i like to write. been doin it since i was a kid -- really became interested sometime during high school....in fact, that's when i wrote my very first "real" story. haven't done much with it tho 'cept revise it -- it was stinky like a old dead fish, but had lots of potential. probably why i still pull it out and work on it -- i can tell there's a real story in there, and every revision unearths somethin new.....maybe someday i'll uncover the whole thing ;)

most of me fiction's been horror, and short. there's a sci-fi novel, a gay novel (non-pornish tho, thought i'd do something different), a couple murder mystery series (only one rough draft finished tho), and two different works of fan fiction based on video games (their stories were just too interesting to not touch).

but mostly it's short horror stories.....dunno why, maybe cuz i read so much Stephen King when i was young.....or because i had a teddy shark instead of a teddy bear.....

lately my focus seems to be more on what's currently considered queer horror. there's a long long hypothesis about what the definition of "queer horror" is/should/could be, and maybe someday i'll add me own thoughts on the matter.....but for now, suffice it to say i'm gay, 99.99% of main characters i've read are straight, and i just wanna see some main characters who are gay.

and in a horror story.

and there's no porn in sight.

to the left are some works i've done......gotta admit, i have a bad bad habit of starting somethin and not finishing it -- Muse is forever being frowny about that -- but i also often have problems with being too distracted to focus on much, even making this page :( i won't go into that just now....

anyhoo, this is what i felt comfortable with posting here:
(very important! these aren't kids stories, they contain adult language, some violence, and generic adult situations. if you're easily offended, not interested in horror (since that's what i got right now), and/or under 18, either proceed with caution and/or a grownup, or don't proceed at all)

A Fine Line:
a short short i wrote a long time ago based on an idea for a short short fiction contest (which had already closed, but i wanted to brainstorm) -- the theme was "he's not normal/she's not normal," and this is what popped into me head. i think a short short story is supposed to be 1,000 words or less...this one's 989, so it was good practice for find the right words too :)
Foggy Encounter:
another short short, this one was my entry for a writing challenge on some writing boards i used to visit (not gonna comment on the boards). i'm still a tad bitter about the one reply it received...it said "it's predictable," then suggested in a condescending tone that switching POV in a short story was a no-no. nothing useful whatsoever :( but, if you'd like to offer any suggestions, feel free to contact me -- i know it could use improvement, and i'm always open to constructive criticism :)
Territory:
this one's longer, more of a traditional short story. it also features gay characters, but doesn't include porn. just wanted to see if that was possible....turns out it is :P
that's all Muse would let me post ;) and eventually i'd like to add more, including works in progress. this is, in fact, the very reason why i wanted to make a personal site in the first place, two years ago.....and i'm finally getting the chance to do it. just thought it'd be kinda neat to share my own work with people, whether it's "officially" published or not.

hope ya like »o«
