sims? what's those? sims: a Maxis game, The Sims. they're little computer people, and you can do whatever you want with 'em....mostly i just let mine improve their little lives by learning new skills, and making new friends, and getting better jobs. but lots of times i'll leave them be too and see what they do -- and they can be pretty smart when they wants to be!

i currently have twelve sims in six families (a "family" is just sims who live together), but only pay significant attention to two of the families....most people with sims do that too, have a neighborhood full but only play a couple houses. you find your favorites after a while.

i mainly got the Sims because i'd heard you could have gay sims -- sure 'nuf, i discovered that not only could you make them gay, some will start out that way. very interesting....

you can also be as omnipotent as you want, from leaving them alone to fend for themselves (doesn't work out well very often), to telling them every little thing to do. i'm kinda in-between, i'll instruct them to tend to a need or to study, but mostly let them do their own thing and socialize with whomever they want....makes things loads more interesting, i tell ya what ;)

another thing i enjoy about simming is the fact that you can customize the hell outta the place. i've made some wallpapers so far, and a couple "skins" (their clothes), but only dabbled with making new objects......and holy guano batman, there are SO many talented people out there in the Sims community! you get plenty of objects and skins with the games, but if you're tired of everyone having the same decor and furniture, or looking the same, you can change that if you're willing to learn how

so that's one thing i've been doing, customizing my sims so they don't look like everyone else's. thing is tho, i've only done maybe two so far....i've changed the bodies of five or six of them, but only done two faces. done some clothes tho, and even thought about making them available for download...but i've since discovered that there are those who like to point fingers and ask where you got this wrinkle or that highlight...and others who do blatantly steal other's creations, then pass them off as their own >:( so i decided "screw it," don't wanna bother.

whenever i show someone else's work here, proper credit will be provided at the bottom of the page. not only do i want to give credit where it's due and well-deserved, it's also nice to pass along great places for other simmers to check out :) if i ever get any good shots of my skins up here tho, they'll probably be available privately, if at all.....i'll hafta know who's getting them first ;)

right now, i just gots one favorite family to shows ya, the Libbys. but i'll adds more later, when i gets to it......my other favorites are the Bunnys, but they're still on their honeymoon so i can't shows ya yet.....it's a bit of a tale, which i'll tells later
